On the 20^th July a dinner was held at the Rockhampton Leagues Club to commemorate the Battle of Fromelles. The Gracemere RLS organized the event and approximately 200 people attended.

The guest speaker was MAJ Ed Dahlheimer, OC Capricornia Company 31^st/42^nd Battalion, the Royal Queensland Regiment, President RSL Gladstone Sub Branch, Vice President Young Veterans CQ, Vice President RSL Wide Bay Burnett District.
