The Emerald Tigers  Rugby League Football Club hosted an ANZAC day match
this year – NZ Invitational vs AUS Invitational sides and had the son of one
of our members play the Last Post.  Special Anzac Jerseys were designed and
used for this match with two of the members offering their jerseys for
auctioned. As well a collection was carried out with the collection and
auction funds amounting to just over $1,300 which was presented to the
Emerald RSL Sub-Branch President Noel Mallyon and Secretary Bryan Ottone on
the 7th June 2021. Emerald Tigers RLFC hope that this will be an annual
event.
